“I was a volunteer on 'The Govanhill People's History Project', which was led by Dr Sue Morrison. I have had a long standing interest in social history and Dr Morrison's passion for her subject, and the professionalism of the delivery of her oral history training, has ignited that interest beyond measure. I have gone on to work on similar projects as a result. Dr Morrison has a great way with people, which is demonstrated, powerfully, in my opinion, by the affection with which she is still held within the community of Govanhill.”
