'Everyday People: Untold Stories' - The Movie!
We were delighted to learn that Heritage Lottery Fund Scotland mentioned Sue's 'Everyday People: Untold Stories' film on its Facebook page:
"Fancy a Friday afternoon film? Grab a cuppa, open the biscuits and sit down to watch a beautiful video from Isaro Social Integration Network's oral history project."
You can watch the film at: http://isaronetwork.org.uk/oral-history/films/
Profiling several participants from the 'Everyday People' oral history project, the film reveals much about the lives of migrants now living in Scotland. The first screening of the film was rewarded with resounding and heartfelt applause from the 100+ strong audience!
For those of you who know Isaro - can you guess the narrator?!
The film (and a series of shorts adapted by Sue) forms an integral part of Isaro's exhibition, which centres on the experiences and memories of migrants living in West Dunbartonshire and wider Glasgow.
You can watch some of the shorts here: http://isaronetwork.org.uk/oral-history/soundclips/
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the making of the films!
